Newcastle Anglican is seeking casual Laundry Assistants to work in our commercial laundry at Boolaroo. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be available to work across two shifts: 6:00am–2:00pm and 10:00am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to follow workplace instructions and procedures.
• Hold a current Driver's license; public transport options may be limited.
• A National Police Check is required; relevance of outcomes will be considered.
• Willingness to undertake a functional health assessment including drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high workflow to meet laundry timeframes.
• Ensure linen and personal items are washed, dried, sorted and folded to Newcastle Anglican standards.
• Follow machine operation instructions and appropriate load types.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.

Role & Responsibilities
