Job summary

Newcastle Anglican is seeking casual Laundry Assistants to work in our commercial laundry at Boolaroo. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be available to work across two shifts between 6:00am–2:00pm and 10:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

In this role you will maintain high-volume laundry workflows, ensure linen and personal items are washed, dried, sorted and folded to high standards, and follow machine instructions.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work across two shifts 6:00am–2:00pm and 10:00am–6:00pm Monday to Friday.
• Able to maintain high-volume laundry workflows to meet timeframes.
• Follow machine operation instructions and appropriate load types.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and machines.
• Communicate effectively with employees to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining good work flow ensuring high volumes of laundry meet timeframes.
• Ensure linen and personal items are carefully washed, dried, sorted and folded in line with Newcastle Anglicans high standards

Role & Responsibilities:

About you?

• Ability to follow instructions
• Hold a current Drivers licence ( no public transport options available)
• A National police check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes
• Willingness to undertake a functional health assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
