Job summary

SOLLOS Estate in Bowen, Whitsundays, Queensland, welcomes a Venue & Hospitality Manager to launch and run Australia’s first single-estate agave destination. This role is build-it-yourself, shaping culture, systems, guest experience and commercial performance.

You will lead tastings, tours, retail and events, recruit and train staff, drive visitation and revenue, and collaborate with marketing and tourism partners to position the brand as premium and distinctive in the growing agave category.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hospitality teams in a venue or similar setting.
• Ability to drive revenue growth and improve visitation.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Skilled at developing guest experiences aligned with brand.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the cellar door across tastings, tours, retail and events.
• Own venue performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, visitation and spend per guest.
• Plan and execute the continued development of the cellar door and visitor experience.
• Recruit, train and lead a high-performing hospitality team, including bar and events staff.
• Drive revenue growth and identify opportunities to increase visitation and overall commercial performance.
• Develop new tastings, experiences, events and programming aligned with the SOLLOS brand.
• Work closely with the marketing team on campaigns, partnerships, activations and tourism initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with Tourism Whitsundays, local operators, hotels and tourism partners.
• Ensure compliance across liquor licensing, food safety, WHS and other venue requirements.
• Deliver a consistent, premium brand and guest experience at every touchpoint.
• Represent SOLLOS Estate within the local tourism and hospitality community.
