Fitness Cartel Australia & New Zealand is launching Fitness Cartel Strathpine and seeks a Club General Manager to lead the build. You will lead the pre-sale, recruit and develop a founding sales team, and shape a high-energy, member-first club culture.

You will drive opening success, engage the local fitness community, and report to senior leadership on performance and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Proven leadership in a large gym environment (20+ staff, 2,000+ members).
Experienced sales leader with KPI focus and target-driven mindset.
People-focused with strong communication and coaching abilities.
Organised, solutions-focused, with passion for fitness and community.

Responsibilities

Lead the launch of the Strathpine club and execute pre-sale strategy to hit membership targets.
Recruit, train and inspire a founding high-performing team.
Create a high-performance sales culture centred on accountability and results.
Drive membership growth and community engagement through outreach and events.
Plan marketing campaigns across social, SMS, and email to generate leads.
Monitor sales, retention, and financial outcomes; report insights to leadership.
Utilise Clubware, Debit Success and Gym Sales to track leads and conversions.
Prepare operational readiness for opening and coordinate with senior leadership.
Oversee Crèche, Retail & Café operations to ensure exceptional member experiences.
