OnDeck in Australia is seeking a Late Stage Recoveries Specialist to join its Operations team. The role is based in Sydney CBD with hybrid working, and remote options are considered for Melbourne and Brisbane candidates.

You’ll manage a portfolio of complex commercial recoveries, take ownership of cases, negotiate settlements and work with solicitors and external partners to drive practical outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience in late-stage collections or recoveries.
• Strong commercial judgement for recovery decisions.
• Proven negotiation skills for settlements and payment plans.
• Ability to manage a portfolio and drive outcomes independently.
• Excellent communication with customers and stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Manage a portfolio of complex commercial recoveries from investigation to resolution.
• Identify opportunities in written-off accounts and drive recovery.
• Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements.
• Conduct skip tracing and investigations to locate customers.
• Handle difficult conversations and propose practical solutions.
• Assess financial circumstances to tailor recovery strategies.
• Coordinate with solicitors and external recovery partners.
• Support litigation and external recovery processes when required.
• Assess recovery viability and determine next steps.
• Work toward individual recovery targets and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with policies and regulations.
