Job summary

Transcend Managed Services is seeking an experienced Laser Cutter - Setter/Operator for a South Kingsville manufacturing site. You will work with machine operators, fitters and welders to produce quality finished products.

You will set up, maintain and operate Yawei 3-kW flatbed and a 3-kW laser pipe cutting system, reading plans and drawings and ensuring safety and compliance with OH&S procedures. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be highly experienced in the use of laser cutting machines.
• Reliable team player with a great attitude.
• Be able to follow safety and OH&S procedures.
• Available Monday–Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• You will be working alongside machine operators, fitters, and welders to create a quality finished product.
• Setting up, maintaining, and operating Yawei 3-kilowatt flatbed machine and a 3-kilowatt laser pipe cutting machine.
• Cutting tubed products with a laser cutting machine.
• Reading and interpreting plans and drawings.
