Job summary

Unique Metals Laser in Melbourne region is seeking a diligent CNC Laser operator to join the production team at our site in Tullamarine, VIC. You will operate a CNC laser cutting machine, run a forklift, and ensure a clean, safe workspace while supporting ad hoc tasks from the Operations Manager.

Industry background in engineering, fabrication or laser/plasma cutting is advantageous, with training provided. The role requires Australian work rights and involves 3 shifts.

Qualifications

• Australian work rights required.
• Forklift licence essential.
• Experience in laser/plasma fabrication advantageous but not required.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Training in operation of machinery will be provided.
• 3 shifts are available.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC Laser cutting machine.
• Operate a forklift.
• Maintain clean work area and tools.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as directed by Operations Manager.
