The role is ongoing casual with Monday–Friday hours, on-site at Macquarie Park. You must pass a practical assessment, lift 5–10 kg, and contribute to a clean, safe 5S work environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Analyzing defective products from the production line to identify root causes.
• Repair: Perform repairs on hardware units to resolve technical issues and restore optimal performance.
• Quality Assurance: Execute thorough pre/post-repair safety and functional testing before release.
• Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training programs to adapt quickly to new product models.
• Workstation Standards: Maintain clean, safe, and efficient work areas adhering to 5S methodology standards.
• Team & Operations Support: Assist with general warehouse tasks and workstation setups as required.

About the Role

This hands-on role combines laptop technical repairs, hardware assembly, and general production tasks. You will diagnose electronic faults, assemble consumer technology, and service a variety of devices to meet volume demands, ensuring top-tier performance across all units post-repair.

Hours & Location

• Location: Macquarie Park, NSW (10 minutes from public transport)
• Employment Type: Ongoing Casual
• Days: Monday to Friday (occasional Weekend OT available)
• Shift Window: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Example shifts, 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM | 9:45 AM - 6:00 PM | 10:00 AM - 6:15 PM)

Candidate Profile

Essential Criteria:

• Work Rights: Must currently reside in Australia with valid, full-time working rights.
• Technical Mindset: Must pass a practical on-site assessment demonstrating sound diagnostic logic and comfort handling basic hand tools.
• Adaptability: A proactive, flexible mindset with a willingness to assist in general workshop tasks.
• Physical Capability: Comfortable manually moving products weighing up to 5-10 kgs.

Preferred Criteria:

• Prior hands-on experience (6+ months) repairing appliances or consumer tech is advantageous.
