Job summary

Canberra Sand & Gravel, a leading landscape supplier serving the Canberra region, is seeking a reliable Front End Loader Operator for our Hume Landscape Centre. This hands-on role focuses on safely loading customer and contractor vehicles with landscape and construction products.

You will perform daily equipment checks, maintain stockpiles, assist customers with product selections, and support the sales and yard team in a busy outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Front end loader operating experience.
• A current Australian driver's licence.
• Strong awareness of workplace health and safety.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a busy outdoor environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operating a front end loader safely and efficiently.
• Loading customer vehicles, trailers and contractor trucks.
• Managing and maintaining product stockpiles.
• Assisting customers with product selection and quantities.
• General yard housekeeping and presentation.
• Supporting the sales and yard team as required.
• Conducting daily equipment checks and maintaining safety standards.
