Job summary

Summit Contracting Services Pty Ltd seeks a motivated Landscape Tradesman (view to Supervisor) to join our team in Sydney’s South West and North West. You will work hands-on on new home developments, lead the on-site crew, and coordinate with management to meet project timelines.

Ideal candidates have landscaping experience, plan reading ability, and a willingness to advance to supervisory duties. Driver license, White Card, and reliable transport are essential for site access.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Team Leader is beneficial but not required.
• White Card is mandatory.
• A drivers licence and own transport to reach Head Office or local yards.
• Hard and soft landscaping experience in new developments.
• Ability to read plans.
• Bobcat and Excavator experience.
• Willingness to obtain MR Truck licence if needed.
• Capable of working in a team environment.

Landscape Tradesman (view to Supervisor)

Summit Contracting Services Pty Ltd has been developedas aleading Landscape company situated in Sydney's South West and have now successfully expanded into Sydney's North West.

Our primary work source includes continuous contracts with local recognisable builders including both landscaping and concreting aspects. Althoughwe also have an established, ever growingteam that provide high end residential landscape works to selected clients.

We are looking for a Qualified Tradesman or Supervisor looking to expand their skills and enhance their role to join our team to workhands on in our new home development projects. All roles will include direct contact with management and will be key positions in the companies growth.

Experience/Willingness to work with a concrete team on pool surrounds and driveway construction when necessary welcomed and preferred.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Tasks and responsibilities include: (but not limited to) Pending experience for all roles:

• Team Leading and Onsite Supervision
• Job planning
• Work within budgets and timeframes given

Skills and experience

To be considered as a candidate, you must be able to accept all the responsibilities and tasks as mentioned above. Experience as a Team Leader is not necessary but beneficial.

Skills and experience preferred include:

• A drivers licence is a must and own transport required to get to our Head Office in Smeaton Grange (if based here) or alternatively to one of our 2 local yards.
• Experience in hard and soft landscaping within new developments
• Ability to read plans
• Bobcat and Excavator experience
• MR Truck licence (but not necessary, but willing to attain)
• Capable of working in a team environment
• Must hold a White Card

Additionally you must be motivated, punctual, reliable, hard working, presentable and able to work safely, effectively and efficiently without supervision.
