Job summary

One Group is seeking a Landscape Services Team Member – Level 2 to join our Rookwood team. This full-time role involves general grounds maintenance, landscaping and gardening duties, with 38 hours per week plus reasonable overtime.

You will work in a dynamic team to keep outdoor spaces healthy and well-presented. The ideal candidate has landscaping experience and a Certificate III in Horticulture or related field (or is working towards it), plus a NSW driver licence and ability to operate

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience.
• Certificate III in Horticulture, Landscaping, Parks & Gardens or related field, or actively pursuing it.
• Current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• General grounds maintenance, landscaping and gardening duties.
• Mowing, trimming, planting, watering and turf maintenance.
• Hedge and tree trimming and general garden maintenance.
• Weed control and chemical spraying.
• Operate and maintain landscaping machinery and equipment, including mowers, brush cutters and other plant equipment.
• Perform basic equipment checks, cleaning and maintenance.
• Follow all WHS, PPE and chemical-handling requirements.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks safely and on time.

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Landscape Services Team Member to join our team in Rookwood.

Key Responsibilities

• General grounds maintenance, landscaping and gardening duties.
• Mowing, trimming, planting, watering and turf maintenance.
• Hedge and tree trimming and general garden maintenance.
• Weed control and chemical spraying.
• Operate and maintain landscaping machinery and equipment, including mowers, brush cutters and other plant equipment.
• Perform basic equipment checks, cleaning and maintenance.
• Follow all WHS, PPE and chemical-handling requirements.
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks safely and on time.

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, horticulture or park management.
• Certificate III in Horticulture, Landscaping, Parks & Gardens or a related field, or currently working towards it.
• Current NSW Driver Licence.
• Experience or training in chemical spraying/chemical handling.
• Experience safely operating landscaping machinery and tools.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform outdoor work involving regular bending, lifting, walking and carrying.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Desirable

• MR or HC licence.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
