Flower Power in Ashtonfield, NSW, is seeking a casual team member for our landscape yard. You’ll guide customers, help them choose materials, and keep the yard stocked, safe and welcoming.

Delivery duties and a forklift license within one month may be required; flexibility across weekdays, weekends and public holidays is essential. Prior retail or customer service experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Able to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Willing to obtain a forklift licence within 1 month.

Flower Power is Australia's largest retail Garden Centre & Lifestyle group with 11 retail stores across Sydney and Newcastle regions. We grow, import & sell a diverse range of products such as plant-life, landscape materials, outdoor furniture, home-wares and gift-wares at our Garden Centres.

At Flower Power we're passionate about plants, people, and creating beautiful outdoor spaces. To keep the magic growing, we are growing our Landscape Sales team at our Ashtonfield store. We are looking for a casual team member who wants to grow with us. There is the potential to move to part or full time if that is what you want.

What You’ll Be Doing

This isn’t your average retail gig. You’ll be the friendly face guiding customers through our landscape yard, helping them choose the right materials to bring their outdoor visions to life. You’ll keep the yard looking sharp, stocked, and safe, while teaming up with a crew that thrives on positivity and top-notch customer care.

About You

• Know your way around a sale and love helping people
• Bring energy, initiative, and a "let’s get it done" attitude
• Enjoy working outside and being part of a tight-knit crew
• Hold a current and valid driver's licence and be prepared to do deliveries.
• Have, or be willing to obtain, a forklift licence within one month of commencing employment.
• Be physically fit and capable of lifting and handling heavy items safely.
• Have strong customer service skills and be comfortable serving customers and operating a cash register/POS system.
• Be able to work independently when required, while also following instructions and working effectively as part of a team.
• Previous retail or customer service experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• We’re open when our customers need us - so you’ll need to be flexible across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
