Job summary

Nuview Landscapes in the Sutherland Shire is seeking a 1st or 2nd year Landscape Apprentice to join our on-site team. The roster runs Mon–Thu with a half-day Friday, and you’ll learn a real trade in well-scoped residential projects.

You’ll be on-site with a small crew, supported through your Certificate III in Landscape Construction and a paid TAFE day as you progress to more skilled tasks like paving, walls, turfing and planting.

Qualifications

• Currently a 1st or 2nd year apprentice or have started your Certificate III in Landscape Construction.
• White Card (Construction Induction card) is required.
• Current driver’s licence and your own car to get to site.

Responsibilities

• On site with the crew for setup, packing down and material handling.
• Excavation and base prep, mixing and laying paving, building walls.
• Turfing and planting, keeping the site clean and safe.
• Progress to more skilled work with support through Certificate III in Landscape Construction.

At Nuview Landscapes we build high-end residential gardens across the Sutherland Shire and southern Sydney. We're after a 1st or 2nd year apprentice who wants to come out the other end a proper landscape tradesperson - not someone to park on a shovel for four years.

About the role

Day to day you'll be on site with the crew - setting up and packing down, moving and prepping materials, excavation and base prep, mixing, laying pavers, building walls, turfing and planting, and keeping the site clean and safe. As you progress you'll take on more of the skilled work and less of the barrow work. You'll be supported through your Certificate III in Landscape Construction.

About you

Current driver’s licence and your own car - you need to be able to get yourself to site
