Job summary

1300apprentice partners with a respected landscaping company to offer a 1st Year Landscape Construction Apprenticeship across Sydney, with hands-on work on commercial projects and access to a nationally recognised qualification. No experience is required, but you must be fit for outdoor work, hold a valid driver’s license, and have a White Card.

The program includes a dedicated mentor and can be completed in as little as 3 years.

Landscape Construction Apprenticeships are on the Australian Apprenticeship Priority List. You may be eligible for a payment of $5,000.00 from the Governmentduringthe apprenticeship.

Some of what you'll learn:

• Constructing brick and stone structures
• Paving and building retaining walls
• Plant and soil improvements for gardens and turf
• Installing drainage
• Implementing plant establishment programs
• Project costing and estimating (later in the apprenticeship)

We're looking for someone who:

• A genuine interest in building a career in landscaping
• Is physically fit and ready to work hard outdoors
• Has a driver's licence minimum P1 and own transport
• Has a White Card (or is willing to obtain one)
• Is well presented with a strong work ethic
• Takes pride in their work and is eager to learn
• Follows directions and works well in a team
