Job summary

Scenic Rim Regional Council – Beaudesert QLD is seeking a Landfill Maintenance Operator to join Infrastructure Services on a full-time basis at the Bromelton Landfill. You will perform landfill operations, plant maintenance and site duties in a dynamic regional environment.

Based at Bromelton Central Landfill, you’ll work a 38-hour week, 9-day fortnight, with the potential for up to 13% employer superannuation.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy machinery and operating landfill equipment.
• MR/HR licence required to operate vehicles.
• Construction Induction Card (CIC) essential.
• Experience in general labouring duties is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Processing waste at landfill tip face.
• Operate landfill plant including tracked loader, compactor, ADT and excavator as required.
• Undertake maintenance on landfill plant and machinery including pre-start checks, cleaning, reporting faults.
