Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee land development projects across Perth, coordinating site activities and subcontractors to deliver works safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

You will work closely with the operations team and senior leadership, taking responsibility for day-to-day site delivery, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring progress aligns with timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising civil construction or land development projects.
• Sound knowledge of subdivision works and civil infrastructure.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage site activities.
• Confident reading engineering drawings and construction plans.
• Strong understanding of site safety and quality requirements.
• Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of site delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations across land development and subdivision projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
• Oversee earthworks, drainage, underground services and roadworks.
• Monitor project progress, productivity and construction timeframes.
• Ensure works meet safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, surveyors and subcontractors.
• Maintain site records and provide regular progress updates.
