Job summary

Centrals is seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations on civil construction and earthworks projects across WA. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will supervise crews, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, quality and schedule are met, and build strong client and stakeholder relationships.

The role requires proven experience supervising civil sites, strong leadership, excellent communication, and a current White Card, HR (or above) licence, and police clearance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising civil construction projects.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate crews.
• Experience in earthworks, roadworks, drainage or similar civil works.
• Knowledge of construction methods, safety laws and quality standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current HR or C-class driver's licence (HR desirable).
• White Card and ability to pass police clearance.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading site personnel, subcontractors and plant operators.
• Planning and coordinating daily construction activities.
• Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture.
• Ensuring works align with drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials to maximise productivity.
• Conducting pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site inspections.
• Maintaining project records and reporting progress to stakeholders.
• Assisting with planning, programming and addressing onsite issues.
• Building positive relationships with clients, suppliers and the project team.
