The role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and hard-working Labourer to join our Parks and Reserves team. This position is responsible for maintaining Council’s open space areas and high-profile grounds and reserves.

Duties may includemowing, planting, irrigation, weed identification and control, laying turf, rubbish removal, mulching, pruning, watering, machinery operation and other general duties as required.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the environment, enjoy working outdoors, show an interest in garden maintenance, have labouring experience and most importantly, works well as part of a team.

Salary Range: $63,089 to $74,853 per annum (including industry allowance) + $1,000 pa transport allowance + 12% superannuation

Uniform Provided -76 hours per fortnight with a rostered day off
