Job summary

Guardian Tactile Systems Pty Ltd, Perth, is seeking a Labourer to join the installation team on a casual-to-fulltime basis with immediate start. You will install tactile paving, stair nosing, and floor safety products on construction sites using power tools, and ensure work meets Australian standards.

Applicants must have full working rights in Australia, be available Monday to Friday, hold a White Card, a valid C-class driver’s license (manual preferred), and be able to obtain a national police

• Experience with working outdoors and on construction sites

Responsibilities

• Complete training and transition to a full-time position after probation

This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a highly successful family owned business. We are a well-established Australian owned company that is manufacturing, supplying and installing safety products to the construction industry.

The successful candidate must be experienced with the use of power tools. This is a requirement to professionally install a variety of floor safety products such as tactiles, stair treads and wheel stops.

The successful applicant must have the following:

• Full working rights in Australia only
• Available Monday to Friday
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must have a valid white card
• Have or be able to obtain a national police clearance
• Must have a valid driver’s license (Class C: manual is preferred)
• Must be experienced with power tools (drop saw, drills etc)
• Have excellent planning, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to understand and comply with building codes and requirements

Desirable skills in the following area:

• Tiling or flooring experience is advantageous
• Ability to read building and architectural plans is desirable

The company provides all necessary work vehicles, electrical tools, and PPE to ensure the role can be performed safely and effectively. Comprehensive hands‑on training will be provided to the successful candidate. Upon successfully completing the training and demonstrating the required installation skills and competency, there will be an opportunity to transition to a full-time position.
