Job summary

Georgiou is seeking a Labourer to join our team for an upcoming major civil project in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. You will work a 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth, supporting bulk earthworks and civil construction activities alongside an experienced project team.

Reporting to the site leadership team, you will perform general labouring, assist with site setup, housekeeping and deliver materials as required, while maintaining safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Experience on civil construction, mining or resources projects is required.
• Pilbara and FIFO experience is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labouring duties across civil construction site.
• Assist with site set-up, pack-up and housekeeping.
• Carry out daily safety checks and report issues to site management.
• Assist with material delivery and site tasks as directed.

About the role:

Reporting to the site leadership team, you will play a key support role on site, assisting with general duties to support daily project operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general labouring duties across civil construction site
• Assist with site set-up, pack-up and general housekeeping
• Complete work in accordance with agreed standards
• Carry out daily safety checks and advise management of any safety breaches
• Undertake general delivery and collection of materials using a Georgiou site vehicle
• Assist with ad hoc tasks and general duties as directed by site management

Your skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar position on civil construction, mining or resources projects
• Previous Pilbara and FIFO experience will be highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills
• Construction White Card
• Valid driver’s licence - HR Driver’s Licence, together with previous bus driving experience, will be considered highly advantageous
• Ability to work a 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth
