Job summary

Linley Valley Pork, part of the Craig Mostyn Group, invites reliable Labourers to join our production team in Wundowie, WA. You will work in a fast-paced processing environment, handling pork products with emphasis on safety, quality and efficiency.

Shifts run Monday to Friday: day 4:00am–12:30pm, afternoon 1:00pm–9:30pm, and night 11:00pm–7:00am at our Wundowie facility, around 30 minutes east of Midland. Prior meat processing experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• The ability to perform physically demanding work, including repetitive tasks, lifting and standing for extended periods.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety, hygiene and food quality standards.
• A reliable work ethic with excellent punctuality and attendance.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly in English.
• Due to our location, you'll need a drivers' license and reliable vehicle to travel to and from work each day.
• Previous experience in a meat processing, food production or manufacturing environment is preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Pushing pork sides to and from chillers and lowering sides to cutting tables
• Operating saws and other processing equipment
• Lifting pork quarters and large cuts
• Lifting and moving finished product cartons, trim and waste carts
• Operate processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards.
• Wear and maintain required PPE and follow all WHS procedures.
• Work collaboratively to achieve production targets.

Linley Valley Pork is a premium product sourced and produced in Western Australia, where we have raised and processed the finest pork to supply to families in Australia and in international markets for more than 30 years.

The Opportunity

We are actively seeking reliable and motivated Labourers to join our production team at Linley Valley Pork. Working within a fast-paced processing environment, you will play an important role in ensuring products are prepared, packed and processed safely while meeting our quality, food safety and production standards. Whether you have previous experience in meat processing or are looking to develop new skills, we welcome individuals who are committed, safety-focused and willing to learn.

We have a variety of shifts available working Monday to Friday, including day shift from 4.00am to 12.30pm, afternoon shift from 1.00pm to 9.30pm and night shift from 11.00pm to 7.00am at our facility in Wundowie, which is around 30 minutes east of Midland.
