Job summary

Linley Valley Pork, part of the Craig Mostyn Group, is hiring reliable Labourers for our production team in Wundowie, WA. Roles involve working in a fast-paced meat processing environment with shifts from early morning to night.

Candidates should be physically able, safety‑minded and punctual, with English communication skills and a valid driver’s license. We welcome individuals looking to develop new skills, whether with prior meat processing experience or fresh to the industry.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Push pork sides to and from chillers and lower sides to cutting tables.
• Operate saws and other processing equipment.
• Lift pork quarters and large cuts.
• Move finished product cartons, trim and waste carts.
• Operate processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards.
• Wear and maintain required PPE and follow WHS procedures.
• Work collaboratively to achieve production targets.

Our operations are in Western Australia and Victoria, where we produce premium quality pork, beef, lamb, abalone, protein meal and tallow for clients and suppliers here locally and internationally.

The Opportunity:

We are actively seeking reliable and motivated Labourers to join our production team at Linley Valley Pork.Working within a fast-paced processing environment, you will play an important role in ensuring products are prepared, packed and processed safely while meeting our quality, food safety and production standards. Whether you have previous experience in meat processing or are looking to develop new skills, we welcome individuals who are committed, safety-focused and willing to learn.

We have a variety of shifts available working Monday to Friday, including day shift from 4.00am to 12.30pm, afternoon shift from 1.00pm to 9.30pm and night shift from 11.00pm to 7.00am at our facility in Wundowie, which is around 30 minutes east of Midland.

About you:

• The ability to perform physically demanding work, including repetitive tasks, lifting and standing for extended periods.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety, hygiene and food quality standards.
• A reliable work ethic with excellent punctuality and attendance.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly in English.
• Due to our location, you'll need a drivers' license and reliable vehicle to travel to and from work each day.
• Previous experience in a meat processing, food production or manufacturing environment is preferred, but not essential.
