Job summary

Diplomatik is seeking a Labourer with a Forklift ticket to join our client in Townsville, QLD. The role is casual, ongoing for the right candidate with an ASAP start, Monday to Friday 8.00am till 4.00pm.

You will operate on the assembly line, load and assemble parts, read drawings, follow safety procedures, and report issues. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year on an assembly line and can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• At least 1 year experience working on an assembly line.
• Solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy pieces of equipment, as well as stand for hours at a time.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects.
