Job summary

WorkPac in Western Australia is seeking a labourer to operate a fibreglass pipe winding machine in a busy workshop. The role involves manual handling, following detailed work instructions, and maintaining safety and cleanliness.

You will wear a respirator during spray-up stages; training is provided. A current Forklift Licence is advantageous, and WA drivers licence with reliable transport is required.

Qualifications

• Labourer experience required.
• Forklift licence advantageous.
• Fiberglass lamination experience desirable.
• WA driver’s licence and reliable transport required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a fibreglass pipe winding machine in a busy workshop.
• Follow detailed work instructions and assist production of fibreglass pipes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow health, safety and environmental procedures.

What You Will Be Doing

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a fibreglass pipe winding machine to support the manufacturing process within a busy workshop environment. Duties include carrying out general process work, following detailed work instructions, assisting with the production of fibreglass pipes, maintaining a clean and organised work area, and adhering to all health, safety, and environmental procedures. The role requires a physically fit and reliable individual who is comfortable performing manual handling tasks and willing to wear a respirator mask during spray-up stages of the manufacturing process. Full training and ongoing supervision will be provided, and a current Forklift Licence will be highly regarded.
