Job summary

The City of Canterbury Bankstown is offering a permanent full-time Labourer role based in New South Wales. You will carry out road and footpath construction, drainage and concrete works, operate basic plant, and maintain records under supervision.

Applicants require a current Class C drivers licence, WHS White Card, and experience in civil construction or road works. Salary starts at 58,761 plus AWACA plus 12% super.

• Demonstrated ability in construction and or concrete works.
• Experience in laying concrete.
• Knowledge of general civil construction and or road works.

Responsibilities

• Carry out road construction, maintenance labouring duties
• Carry out footpath, kerb and gutter construction and maintenance labouring
• Carry out drainage construction and maintenance labouring
• Operate basic plant and machinery
• Removal of rubbish and debris
• Maximise productivity through current industry best practices
• Maintain and complete accurate records of works undertaken as requested by your supervisor
• Undertake on-the-job training and other duties as directed by your supervisor

The Role

A rewarding opportunity has presented itself for a dedicated and driven individual to join our team as a Labourer.

• This opportunity will be offered on a permanent full-time basis.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Carry out road construction, maintenance labouring duties
• Carry out footpath, kerb and gutter construction and maintenance labouring duties
• Carry out drainage construction and maintenance labouring
• Operate basic plant and machinery

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $58,761 (Grade A, Step 1) + AWACA + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience
