Flexi Staff in Western Australia is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the quality control team in day-to-day laboratory and production activities. You will assist the Chemist, clean glassware, and help maintain analytical testing capabilities in a fast-paced agricultural supplies environment.

This casual role requires at least six months in a similar lab position, a Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques, and hands-on experience with HPLC/GC and particle size analysis.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role.
• Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques (Minimum requirement).
• HPLC experience.
• GC experience.
• Particle Size experience.
• Formulation process exposure.
• Strong in managing self, team relationships and work processes.
• Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point skills.
• High Risk Forklift Licence (Desirable).
• Basic Machine Operating skills.
• Fit and able to lift 20kgs.
• National Police Clearance & ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol.

Aufgaben

• Be part of the quality control department by using scientific knowledge and assisting the Chemist in day-to-day operations in the laboratory and production area.
• Clean Laboratory Glassware and ensure all are in good condition.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment used to perform analytical tests.
• Quality Control testing of finished products, raw materials, in-process materials, fully formulated samples, new supplier samples and environmental samples to support plant operations.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety in the laboratory.
• Comply with manufacturer and company requirements with hazardous substances.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies and relevant legislation.
• Abide by EH&S policies and procedures.
• Assist in other reasonable duties to assist the overall company’s success.
• Decanting + Manual lifting.

The Role:

• Be a part of the quality control department by using scientific knowledge skill set and by assisting the Chemist into day-to-day operations in the laboratory and production area.
