Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a similar discipline.
Prior experience in lab operations of a NATA-accredited laboratory environment with a strong technical background.
Experience in an environmental laboratory is highly ideal.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Teamwork skills and ability to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily lab operations, resource allocation, and instrument performance
Monitor workflow and reassign tasks to meet turnaround times
Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance are completed on schedule
Adapt to changing priorities and perform additional duties as needed e.g. laboratory benchwork
