Job summary

Intertek Envirolab in Perth (Canning Vale) is seeking a Casual Laboratory Assistant to join our brand-new facility. The role is entry-level with flexible hours, ideally between 8 am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

There is on-site parking and a modern workspace designed for comfort and efficiency. You will perform sample handling, operate milling and crushing equipment, support chemists, prepare dispatches, and maintain a clean warehouse while following safety

Responsibilities

• Perform sample sorting, weighing, and splitting of both liquid and solid samples.
• Operate LM2 Pulverising Mill and Jaw Crusher.

• Prepare client container orders for dispatch.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and manage waste disposal.
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and PPE requirements.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Casual Laboratory Assistant to join our team at our brand-new Perth facility, located in Canning Vale. This modern laboratory and office space offers the latest technology, on-site parking, and contemporary amenities designed for comfort and efficiency.

This is an entry-level position with flexible hours available Monday to Friday, ideally between 8 am and 7:00 pm (minimum 30 hours per week). Afternoon availability is preferred.

The role is physically active and hands-on, involving moderate lifting and manual handling. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their career in laboratory work within a supportive and safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities
