Job summary

ALS Geochemistry in Orange, NSW, is seeking two Laboratory Assistants to join a production laboratory and deliver high-quality results on time. This is a full-time, residential role with on-site work and on-the-job training.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 6:00 am–2:00 pm or 1:30 pm–9:30 pm. You will weigh, digest or fuse samples, maintain records, calibrate equipment and ensure data quality to meet client reporting standards.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Chemistry or related field is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in a high-production laboratory is highly regarded.
• Basic understanding of analytical chemistry concepts.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work across rosters, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

The role

ALS Geochemistry in Orange is seeking Laboratory Assistants to join a team committed to exceeding client expectations by delivering high-quality results on time.

The successful applicants will receive on-the-job training in the technical components and procedures of the role.

These are full time roles with 8-hour shifts. We are looking for two Laboratory Assistants to work the following rosters:

• Monday to Friday: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm- Monday to Friday: 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm

This is a residential role, and to be considered, you must currently reside in or near Orange - NSW and have current Australian work rights.

The day to day
