Job summary

Capricorn is seeking a Learning & Development Consultant - Claims & Recoveries to own technical learning, onboarding and development plans for the Claims and Recoveries teams during a 12 month fixed-term opportunity.

Based in Perth with a national remit, you will partner closely with Claims and Recoveries leaders, subject matter experts and the Organisational Capability team to build consistent, practical learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop learning materials including eLearning courses, process documentation, job aids, work instructions and technical reference guides.
• Ability to create visually engaging content which is clearly understood and aligns with Capricorn’s branding and style guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across Claims leadership, operational teams, subject matter experts and Learning and Development.
• Experience delivering knowledge-sharing sessions or training, explaining complex concepts in simple, practical terms.
• Experience building or transferring capability through training, side-by-side coaching, onboarding or upskilling employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical learning and onboarding plans for Claims and Recoveries teams.
• Translate new processes into training packs, guides and job aids; include checkpoints and knowledge checks.
• Create role-based pathways and a career tree; identify capability gaps through indicators and insights.
• Host focus sessions to upskill team members and continuously improve content and outcomes.
