Job summary

Capricorn is seeking a Learning & Development Consultant to lead learning and onboarding for the Claims & Recoveries teams on a 12-month fixed-term basis, based in Perth with national remit. You will drive the transition to the Duck Creek system and craft training materials, guides and assessments to uplift capability.

You will partner with leaders and SMEs to build practical learning experiences, focusing on transfer, coaching and measurable outcomes across a national footprint.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop learning materials including eLearning, guides and job aids.
• Create visually engaging content aligned to branding and style guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication across leadership, operations and L&D.
• Experience delivering knowledge-sharing sessions or training.
• Experience building capability through coaching, onboarding or upskilling.
• Assess learning needs, create knowledge checks, and evaluate training impact.

Responsibilities

• Own technical learning, onboarding and development plans for Claims & Recoveries.
• Translate processes into formal training packs and learning materials.
• Create checkpoints and competency validation activities to confirm transfer of learning.
• Develop role-based learning pathways and a clear career tree; identify capability gaps.
