Job summary

Rabobank Australia is seeking a Country Banking KYC Analyst to manage first line responsibilities in client due diligence and CDD activities. You will work with Financial Crime Compliance, Risk & Compliance to ensure compliant outcomes while supporting front line staff.

Key duties include performing ongoing KYC assessments, coordinating with the Financial Crime Operations team, and conducting outreach to Country Banking Australia clients for KYC requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Due Diligence experience in the financial industry, specifically KYC & Financial Crime Operations.
• General understanding of AML/CTF legislation and related banking codes.
• Minimum 1 year contact centre experience with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working across multiple activities in a fast paced, dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing KYC assessment for Country Banking clients.
• Collaborate with Financial Crime Compliance Operations and Risk & Compliance to ensure optimal outcomes in CDD & AML/CTF.
• Provide trainings and regular coaching to front line staff on CDD requirements.
• Navigate systems for CDD reviews and update SharePoint and reporting systems.
• Support businesses in managing risk by applying standardized customer due diligence processes.
• Handle outreach to Country Banking Australia clients for KYC requirements.
• Assist end-to-end process and other business support activities as needed.

About the role:

The purpose of the Country Banking KYC Analyst is to efficiently and competently to handle first line responsibilities in the completion, review, maintenance, and administration of the various County Banking Business Support activities.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Perform ongoing KYC assessment for Country Banking clients

The analyst will also work closely with the Financial Economic Crime Operations team to ensure an effective handover for the ‘risk assessment’ component.

Outreach (via call and emails) to the Country Banking Australia clients for KYC requirements

Complete client maintenance for the CDD clients.

Assist Country Banking front line staff in completing CDD requirements by providing trainings and regular coaching.

Navigate through different systems for CDD reviews, regularly update the SharePoint and other reporting systems as directed.

Support the respective businesses in managing their risk by ensuring alignment to a standardised approach to customer due diligence processes

Collaborate with Financial Crime Compliance Operations, Financial Crime Compliance, Risk & Compliance to ensure optimal outcomes with a specific focus in CDD & AML/CTF

Other duties as directed

The role will also be required to support other teams as needed throughout the end‑to‑end process, alongside other business support activities as needed.

To be successful you will have:

Strong Customer Due Diligence experience in the financial industry, specifically KYC & Financial Crime Operations.

A general understanding of AML/CTF legislation, Code of Banking Practice & FATCA

A minimum 1 year contact centre experience and customer-service oriented with excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in working across multiple activities in a fast paced, dynamic, & collaborative environment

Service experience gained within banking and / or business or corporate banking as an Analyst or similar (Agri experience preferred but not essential)

High level of accuracy and attention to detail
