Job summary

The Reserve Bank of Australia in Sydney is seeking a Technical Procedures Writer to join the Payments Operations Program within the Knowledge Management team on a max-term contract until 31 December 2027. The role focuses on business analysis and high-quality procedures documentation to support RITS and related systems.

You will collaborate with IT, Payments Settlements and other SMEs, delivering clear, accurate artefacts, and ensuring timely updates in a fast-paced, standards-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis and technical procedures writing.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams including IT, operations, risk and compliance.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Ability to prioritise and work in a deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the Knowledge Management team, uplifting key knowledge artefacts supporting RITS and related systems.
• Carry out business analysis and technical procedures writing tasks.
• Collaborate with IT, Payments Settlements, and Knowledge staff to deliver accurate artefacts.
