Job summary

ASC seeks a Knowledge Management Specialist to help shape how knowledge is captured, shared and leveraged across a complex, mission‑critical environment. You will contribute to building KM capability from the ground up and work in a small, growing team.

Reporting to the Knowledge Manager, you will lead cross‑functional KM projects, codify knowledge, manage taxonomy and content lifecycle, and foster communities of practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in knowledge/information management or related discipline.
• 5+ years in knowledge management, information management or related field.
• Experience in complex project/engineering/heavy industry environments, defence background viewed favourably.
• Ability to translate technical information into accessible knowledge assets.
• Experience with digital collaboration tools (SharePoint, Confluence, PLM).
• Strong facilitation of KM processes such as lessons learned and communities of practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional KM projects and initiatives.
• Capture and codify critical knowledge from subject matter experts.
• Manage knowledge assets, taxonomy, metadata and content lifecycle.
• Facilitate communities of practice, lessons learned and knowledge sharing activities.
• Provide training, support and guidance to uplift KM capability.
