Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a Kitchenhand & Catering Assistant to support our premium casual team across corporate kitchens and venues.

The role offers an hourly rate with casual loading and opportunities for growth within one of the world’s largest catering and hospitality organisations. Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience and a commitment to high service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Kitchenhand or Catering Assistant.
• Friendly communicator with a team-first attitude.
• Reliable, energetic and well-presented.

Kitchenhand & Catering AssistantHourly Rate: $27.09 + 25% casual loading

We are looking for experienced Catering Assistants and Kitchenhands to join our premium casual team, supporting corporate kitchens and delivering exceptional hospitality services.

THE POSITION

• Provide welcoming and efficient hospitality service across a range of locations
• Assist with basic food preparation, plating and meal service
• Wash and clean kitchen utensils, equipment, crockery and catering items
• Keep the kitchen and service areas clean, tidy and safe
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards consistently

THE PERSON

• At least 1 year experience in a Kitchenhand or Catering Assistant role
• Friendly communicator with a team-first attitude
• Reliable, energetic and well-presented
• Comfortable working across Education, Corporate, Venues and similar sites
• Able to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
