Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking a Kitchenhand to join our premium casual team in Canberra. You will support corporate kitchens and provide welcoming, efficient hospitality across diverse sites.

Roles include basic food prep, plating, dishwashing, and maintaining clean, safe service areas. The position requires at least 1 year in a Kitchenhand role, a friendly, team-oriented attitude, reliability and presentability, and the ability to work across Education, Corporate, and Venues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a Kitchenhand role.
• Friendly communicator with a team-first attitude.
• Reliable, energetic and well-presented.
• Able to work across Education, Corporate, Venues and similar sites.
• Able to obtain National Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

Kitchenhand Hourly Rate: $27.09 + 25% casual loading

We are looking for experienced Kitchenhands to join our premium casual team, supporting corporate kitchens and delivering exceptional hospitality services.

THE POSITION

• Assist with basic food preparation, plating and meal service
• Wash and clean kitchen utensils, equipment, crockery and catering items
• Keep the kitchen and service areas clean, tidy and safe
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards consistently
