Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited in Brisbane is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to join our Brisbane casual pool. You will help prepare, cook and present meals with care while delivering warm, customer-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include taking orders at the till, processing transactions, supporting kitchen operations, and upholding high hygiene standards. Casual shifts offer flexibility and opportunities to develop hospitality skills across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused.
• Experience in Catering Assistant role and food handling.
• Organised and adaptable for busy settings.
• Willing to obtain National Police Check, WWCC, and DCAC pass for defence sites.

• $27.09 + 25% Casual Loading
• Monday to Friday, daytime shifts (some evenings)

The Person:

• Friendly, reliable and customer focused
• Previous experience in Catering Assistant role and food handling
• Organised and adaptable with confidence in busy settings
• Enjoys teamwork and learning new skills
• Able to obtain a National Police Check and a Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Willing to get DCAC pass to work our defence sites
