Job summary

Bene Aged Care is seeking reliable and team-focused Kitchenhands to join our St Agnes Residential Facility on a part-time basis, helping with meal prep and service for residents. A supportive team environment and opportunities for training are offered in a not-for-profit aged care setting.

You will assist with dietary needs, maintain kitchen hygiene, and help ensure safe operation of equipment, while completing HACCP records as required.

Qualifications

• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Ability to work afternoon and evening shifts.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and service of nutritious meals.
• Supporting special dietary requirements and menu delivery.
• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment.
• Operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
• Completing Food Safety and HACCP documentation accurately.
• Working collaboratively with the hospitality team to deliver excellent service to residents.

About Your Role

In this role, you will play an integral part in the daily operations of our kitchen and hospitality team. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation and service of nutritious meals
• Supporting special dietary requirements and menu delivery
• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment
• Operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
• Completing Food Safety and HACCP documentation accurately

What You'll Bring
