Royal Sydney is a prestigious private members’ club in Australia. The casual Kitchen Assistant role involves operating an industrial dishwasher, cleaning duties, and assisting chefs with food prep while maintaining strict food safety standards.

Shifts run 8:30am–11:00pm across weekdays, weekends and public holidays. Applicants should have kitchen experience, understand WHS and food hygiene, and be flexible to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Kitchen environment.
• Understanding of WHS and Food Hygiene procedures.
• Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts throughout the week and weekend.
• Good communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
• Prior experience working in a high-volume environment.
• Be self-motivated and energetic.

Responsabilités

• Operation of an Industrial Dishwasher.
• Cleaning & washing up responsibilities.
• Manual Handling.
• Correct application of chemicals for cleaning purposes.
• Supporting the Chefs with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
• Compliance with Food Safety procedures.
