Job summary

Royal Sydney Golf Club in Sydney, NSW is hiring a casual Kitchen Assistant reporting to the Executive Chef. You will operate the dishwasher, clean and wash up, apply cleaning chemicals correctly, support chefs with food prep and kitchen duties, and follow Food Safety procedures.

Shifts run 8:30am–11:00pm across weekdays, weekends and public holidays. The role offers $34.22 AUD per hour with weekend penalties and staff benefits such as meals and parking.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Kitchen environment.
• Understanding of WHS and Food Hygiene procedures.
• Flexibility to work across a variety of shifts throughout the week and weekend.
• Demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
• Prior experience working in a high-volume environment.
• Be self-motivated and energetic.

This is a casual position requiring availability to work shifts between 8:30am starts to 11:00pm finishes across weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

The Role will involve:

• Operation of an Industrial Dishwasher.
• Cleaning & washing up responsibilities.
• Correct application of chemicals for cleaning purposes.
• Supporting the Chefs with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
• Compliance with Food Safety procedures.
