The Star Gold Coast is seeking a Kitchen Steward to help maintain cleanliness across our back-of-house areas, supporting the culinary team with cleaned and ready-to-use equipment. This role involves physical work, attention to hygiene, and following safety protocols to uphold a secure working environment.

• Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or manual labour.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Maintain cleanliness across back-of-house areas including kitchens, bars and restaurants.
• Support the culinary team by ensuring equipment is cleaned, organised and ready for service.
• Complete cleaning checklists and safely handle/store chemicals and equipment.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or manual labour (highly regarded)
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is a bonus, but not essential—we’ll provide training
• Good communication skills, with apositive and professional attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexible availability to suit business needs
