Job summary

QT Hotels & Resorts, EVT's premium lifestyle hotel brand, is seeking a kitchen steward to support daily kitchen operations across our hotels. You will work with senior chefs, help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen, and contribute to minimizing waste while delivering great guest service.

This role suits hands-on individuals with hotel, pub, or restaurant experience, strong food safety knowledge, adaptability to shifts, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as kitchen steward or similar in a hotel, pub, restaurant, or café.
• Strong understanding of food safety and OH&S standards.
• Ability to support daily kitchen operations and follow directions of senior chefs.
• Skilled in minimizing waste through careful handling of food and resources.
• Positive attitude with strong communication skills and teamwork.
• Flexible to varying shifts and tasks across hotel areas.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and cleaning.
• Commitment to appearance and grooming standards.
• Willingness to participate in training to develop culinary skills.
