Village Roadshow Theme Parks on the Gold Coast is seeking a Kitchen Steward for Sea World Resort, Main Beach. You will join a busy kitchen team to maintain a clean, safe and organized environment that helps deliver memorable guest experiences.

This casual, on-site role offers flexibility across early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays, with hourly rates: $33.05 (Mon-Fri), $39.66 (Sat), $46.27 (Sun). Prior kitchen experience and strong hygiene knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a busy, high-volume commercial kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Ability to work across early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keep the heart of the kitchen clean by washing dishes, cutlery and large service equipment.
• Maintain sparkling walls, benches and floors while keeping bins cleared and organised.
• Operate commercial dishwashers and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Sanitise surfaces to the highest hygiene standards.
• Dismantle and clean specialised kitchen equipment.
• Work hand-in-hand with a passionate team that values teamwork and efficiency.
