Job summary

Village Roadshow Limited at Sea World Resort on the Gold Coast is hiring a Kitchen Steward in a casual role. You will support a busy kitchen by cleaning dishes and maintaining hygiene throughout shifts that include mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a busy, high-volume commercial kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work across early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, cutlery and large service equipment to keep the kitchen clean.
• Maintain clean walls, benches, floors and organised bins.
• Operate commercial dishwashers and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Sanitise surfaces to meet hygiene standards.
• Dismantle and clean specialised kitchen equipment.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain efficiency and cleanliness.
