Job summary

Village Roadshow Theme Parks on the Gold Coast is seeking a Kitchen Steward at Sea World Resort. The role supports a busy kitchen, keeping washing, surfaces and equipment sparkling to ensure a safe, clean environment for guests. Casual shifts with competitive hourly rates: Mon-Fri $33.05/hr, Sat $39.66/hr, Sun $46.27/hr.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a busy, high-volume commercial kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Positive attitude with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work across early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keep the heart of the kitchen clean by washing dishes, cutlery and large service equipment.
• Maintain sparkling walls, benches and floors while keeping bins cleared and organised.
• Operate commercial dishwashers and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Sanitise surfaces to the highest hygiene standards.
• Dismantle and clean specialised kitchen equipment.
• Work hand-in-hand with a passionate team that values teamwork and efficiency.
