Job summary

Crystalbrook Collection is seeking a Kitchen Steward to keep our busy kitchen clean, organized and compliant with hygiene standards. You’ll support chefs, receive deliveries, manage stock and help maintain a safe, efficient service during nights and weekends.

You don’t need years of experience—reliability, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are valued. Food safety certification or willingness to obtain it will help you shine in this role.

Qualifications

• Reliability, a positive approach and willingness to learn when joining a busy kitchen.
• Practical approach to keeping workspace clean and organized.
• Confidence using commercial dishwashers and cleaning equipment, or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety, with care when handling cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to stay organized and keep pace during busy services.
• Cooperative approach and willingness to support chefs and fellow stewards.
• Availability across a rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
• Food Safety Certification, or a willingness to obtain it.

The Opportunity:

There is a rhythm to a busy kitchen, and our Kitchen Stewards help keep it moving. Working alongside our chefs, you will be part of the action behind every service, keeping our culinary spaces clean, organised and ready for the next order.

From making sure clean plates and utensils are always within reach to keeping equipment and work areas in excellent condition, your work will make a difference throughout the day. You will also help receive deliveries, organise stock and manage waste responsibly, supporting a kitchen where people can work safely and deliver food they are proud of.

The Talent:

You enjoy keeping busy, working with others and the satisfaction of a job done properly. You notice when something needs attention and are happy to step in, whether that means clearing a growing stack of dishes or helping put a delivery away. Previous experience is welcome, but reliability, a positive approach and a willingness to learn are just as valuable.

You will bring:
