Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team in a fast-paced, guest‑facing boutique hotel in Adelaide's Central Market precinct.

You will clean and sterilise equipment, assist with basic food prep, receive deliveries, and help maintain high standards. The role offers base pay plus penalties and hotel perks, with opportunities for career development within IHG.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward.
• Experience working in a busy kitchen environment and working to deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new things and work as part of a wider hotel team.

Aufgaben

• Cleaning and sterilising countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment.
• Maintaining food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators.
• Receiving and organising deliveries to the kitchen.
• Supporting the chefs and other kitchen staff in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling, and washing.
• Removing kitchen waste and washing dirty dishes.
