Crowne Plaza Canberra, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Part-time Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across food and beverage outlets and assist with basic prep when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchen or hospitality operations.
• Ability to follow established safety and hygiene procedures.
• Willingness to assist with basic food prep and dishwashing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machinery and sanitize crockery and kitchen tools.
• Maintain organized storage areas for foods and supplies.
• Assist with receiving and storing goods.
• Report workplace hazards to the appropriate person.
• Support chefs and kitchen team with basic food preparation.
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are met.
• Use safety equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to deliver guest service.
