Job summary

Village Roadshow Theme Parks is seeking a Kitchen Attendant with Knifeskills for the Gold Coast region. This part-time role involves basic cookery, food prep, and knife skills to support daily operations across our parks.

You will prepare sandwiches, cut ingredients, and assist in plating in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen while upholding top food safety standards. Flexibility to work varied shifts is required, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Ability to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prepared food to the park prior to opening.
• Prepare raw items in Production Kitchen (dicing fruit, slicing tomatoes, meats).
• Cook and plate in an a-la-carte environment.
• Follow hygiene procedures and keep the workspace clean and sanitary.
