Job summary

Dream Doors Kitchens is seeking an experienced Kitchen Installer or Cabinet Maker for contract or full-time work in the Melbourne region. The successful candidate will join a growing team and service projects across the North, North-East and Peninsula, with operations based in Preston.

You will install kitchens, remodel existing spaces, fit hardware, and handle laminate benchtops with a focus on precision and customer satisfaction. 3rd/4th year apprentices are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as a kitchen installer or cabinet maker.
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• On-site remodelling and facelifting of existing kitchens.
• On-site installation of new kitchens.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Contract or Full-Time Kitchen Installer to join our growing team.

We are an internationally recognised brand and a proud family-owned business with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and exceptional customer experience. Our work services the North, North-East, and Peninsula areas, with our showroom, office, and warehouse based in Preston.

We specialise in kitchen facelifts as well as new kitchen installations, with a strong focus on precision, quality products, and customer satisfaction.

About the Role

You will work alongside our experienced team, delivering high-quality kitchen installations and remodels across a variety of projects. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive and professional work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• On-site remodelling and facelifting of existing kitchens
• On-site installation of new kitchens
• Installation of kitchen hardware and associated products
• Installation of laminate benchtops

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be:

• An experienced and highly skilled kitchen installer or cabinet maker
• Attentive to detail with a strong focus on quality workmanship
• A versatile problem-solver who can think outside the square
• Well-presented, reliable, honest, and hardworking
• Courteous and professional when dealing with clients, suppliers, sub-trades, and team members
• Confident working independently when required, while also being a strong team player
• Organised, tidy, and safety-conscious on site

Additional Requirements

• Training can/will be provided if required
• Own power and hand tools are preferred but not essential
• 3rd/4th year apprentices are welcome to apply
